What am I reading…?

My anatomy textbook (funny and uninteresting, but true). The interesting and not quite so boring/school required answer is Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. Which I read previously and apparently loved (according to my goodreads review), but I don’t remember it at all. Which, I seriously don’t understand. If it is a good book, then why don’t I remember it? To solve this mystery, I will first attach a screenshot of my previous review of the book, then after I read the book I will post a second review. Hopefully I will remember this book for a longer period of time.

Wow, Michaela, could you be any more vague? At least you included the main character’s name in your review. Trust me, the one I put on this blog will be much better.

Alright, have a good night! If you have any book recommendations, let me know!

My Lab Pracical and More

I feel like my bone lab practical went pretty good. I just ordered a ton of new books for me and my son also. Which, include:

  • Hello, Peter (Peter Rabbit) for my baby.
  • Spot Loves His Daddy for my baby.
  • Rebel of the Sands
  • The Art of Wishing
  • The Looking Glass Wars
  • The Wicked Will Rise
  • The Winner’s Crime
  • The Winner’s Kiss
  • The Wrath and the Dawn
  • The Yellow Brick War

I am so excited to get them!!!

Also, here’s a picture my cousin took when I was at school today of my little reader!

Anatomy Struggles

Today, I have a lab practicum on bones that I’ve been studying forever but it still doesn’t feel like I’ve studied enough. I hope I do well! We have one drop grade in this class, but here’s to hoping I won’t need it!

Intro to My Blog

Hey! This is a short intro to my blog, mainly because I have very little time on my hands (blame my anatomy teacher)! Above all else, I am a mommy. I found out I was pregnant in December 2015 on Christmas (major surprise, but I was still soooo happy). At the time, I was a library page at my local library (definitely my dream job, but it would not pay for the over abundance of diapers I was completely unprepared for). I worked there until I left to have my baby. I made the decision not to work there anymore, but I miss it so much. Who wouldn’t love to see books come in brand new and not have to pay over due fees when they turn them in late? Anyway, when I was pregnant I was finishing an associate degree in Paralegal Technology. I liked it, but it wasn’t my passion. I was inspired by my nurse through Nurse Family Partnership to become a nurse. Which, was my original dream. After having my baby, I decided to get a job as a Program Instructor at multiple group homes, which I absolutely love and now I just found out I got accepted in the LPN program that I wanted into. Reading is the one thing that has kept me sane through all of this. Now that you all are caught up, it’s time for me to catch some ZZZ’s.
